Federation Week 4 – 9 May 2014
Here is some information regarding Federation Week in 2014. This is a great week to learn, play bowls and get to know not only fellow Victorian greenkeepers but also boys from the other states. We are also current holders of the Arthur Parry Trophy which is contested between us and NSW.

Accommodation is at Pinnacle Apartments Kingston
and it is five people to a room.
The cost for the week is $550.00pp, this includes

Accommodation Registration All Bowls Events All Seminars Lunches at bowls Clubs Uniform ( 2 x Shirts, 1 x Pants, 1 x Jacket, 1 x Cap ) The VGA is subsidizing some of the costs for FINANCIAL VGA MEMBERS.
For those coming it is up to you how you get to Canberra, with many of our team driving up, car pool seems to be the top choice.

Wednesday 7th May – AM – Turf Tour : Manuka Oval, Parliament House, Royal Canberra Golf Course, TBC
Canberra North Bowling Club – PM – Semi Final Championships

Thursday 8th May – Queanbeyan Bowling Club :
AM – Education
PM – 5th Test, Finals Championship

Friday 9th May – Belconnen Bowling Club :
AM – Education, 6th Test
Wind Up Dinner – Either Manuka Oval or Eastlakes Football Club

Saturday 10th May : Depart for home

Buses to depart from Pinnacle Apartments every morning. Only ONE pick up point.
Anyone arriving Sunday morning at airport a shuttle bus to Queanbeyan RSL can be arranged.
